1923 ROYAL LANCASHIRE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY .925 hallmarked silver medal in case
This 38mm show award medal weighs 24.52g of hallmarked silver and has adopted a natural stunning multi-coloured rainbow tone! This mint graded silver medal was struck by Birmingham-based medallists Elkington & Co Ltd for the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Society which was first established in 1767.
The edge has been engraved/stamped by hand and states that the silver medal was awarded in 1924 to James Tunstall for Best Calf at the Penwortham Show, the home of the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show since 1862.
